battery charger

I am looking for a good battery charger. Here is what I am looking to do.

1. Charge my dump trailer quickly while loading, before I make it back to the dump.
2. Keep my tractor charged when turn it on and off several times
3. Charge Boat Batteries

I rarely need to use it as a starter.

SChumacher is a good brand, the oldest one I have I got about 1972 and it is still working. You might consider about installling a larger battery wired in parallel on the front of your tractor frame. You could weld on a receiver hitch and make a box to carry the battery and get a remote cable set up that plugs in. For long term charging I use a 1 amp charger. Find a Interstate battery store (not just a dealer) but a place that sells nothing but Interstate batts.

I have a very large and old Schumacher. I seldom use it because it is all "manual". Instead I will use either my Deltran or CTEK. Both of these are fully "automatic". Just plug in and walk away.
