2) maybe not you because it’s beneath you, but millions do. Kids in college, visitors, people who can’t drive into cities. Doesnt change the fact that public transportation isnt owned by the people of the city, it’s can and IS used by anyone who wants to use it.

Ok, so flip it now. Imagine poorer people who need cars living cities. Millions of them, no access to charging stations.
Yet you observed wealthy suburbanites from the Main Line charging Tesla’s at KoP mall.
