TresCrows
It's hard to compare the 2410 and the 4100 straight across. The 2410 is 24 gross hp and the 4100 is 20 gross hp. I'm sitting here looking at the charts I still have from when I was looking at them. No wonder I was confused. You're right the 2410 has 7 gpm hyd flow but the 4100 has 7.4 total flow. It has dual pumps. On the 3ph, the 4100 has 930 lbs lift 24" behind link ends. The 2410 actually has 1300 24" behind LP what ever that is. The fel on the 4100 = 882 (max hight) and the 2410 = 925 (doesn't say any thing about hight). If the companies would meassure and print all the same stats, it would be a lot easier to compare. The way it is, it's almost impossible. I don't know much about NH but I do know I like both kabota and jd. When I was looking at the k3010 and the jd4300, I liked both but ended up with the jd4300 because it had more things I wanted and where I wanted more so than the 3010. I stopped at the kubota dealer the other day (the one that bashed jd when I was look to buy and he did it again) for something and looked at the 3010 again just for fun. I still like some of the things on that machine better, but for me, I think I made the right choice.
It's just too hard to compare apples to apples on any of these machines and I think that's the way the copanies want it.
You say the 2410 wins. I say they both win. They are not the same machine and don't have all the same featchers.
