Has anyone used the Rocky Mountain Bale sweep and if so what did you think of it? I only hay 1000 -2000 small square bales a year. I don't want to put a lot of money into the process since I produce so little, but I am looking for an easier way to get the hay in the barn. Looking at the video at their web site, it looked like a good pickup system if your tractor can handle the weight that far out the front of the FEL, but we have lots of hills and uneven ground that makes me wonder if it would work as well in that terrain. Thanks for any info.

I looked at those but went with a true hay grapple. Can be used to load and unload from the barn too which that unit cant. A true grapple can also stack higher and depending on the model you can cross stack for stability You can sweep load in the field too. Mine is only a small 4/5 bale one but works great. Give these folks a call Kuhns Mfg LLC | Innovation in small square bale handling.

They are great to work with and have great pricing and reasonable shipping.
