are the bale skiis a waste of money pretty expensive does it really change the bales

There's a good discussion about Bale Skii's on another discussion forum called Hay Talk. A few posters including ME have doubts about the Bale Skii's advertised advantages. I think any advantages would be better if one were baling Alfalfa over grass hay. I personally think it would take a small container to measure fuel savings if in fact there were any fuel savings.

some people swear by them, some don't think they help. Like many things it probably depends on your exact application.
