I attached a PDF specification document I just got from Bailey for this valve. Anyone know much about the Bulgarian company Badesnost? I was confused by some of the wording in their catalog but if you want PB you do need to purchase the plug. The valve does not come configured with the PB plug.

All the ports on those valves are SAE 8. What is it equivalent to. Is it the same as the 1/2'' NPT?

A little bigger than 1/2" NPT, You can use THIS chart to compare sizes.

How is the metering on these valves? Do the spools have metering notches at all or is it an all or nothing valve?

Would like to use on T&T if I can avoid the needle valves.

sae 8 is the same size as the ports on the prince sv valves

one thing I noticed in my research is that the sv series valve only has 1.44 inches between ports which means that the female 1/2 quick disconnects from surplus center will not fit thus limiting you to 3/8 qd`s which is what I was planning on using anyways.


has anyone else run into this problem with the sv valves

Eric Phillips, Have you ordered this valve yet, and if so what are your thoughts on it? I'm thinking of ordering one like this also.
