I have the triple bagger for my 2518/44 deck. When I install the mounting bracket on the tractor the tranny release gets in the way. I almost have to force it down to keep it in operating position. Does anyone else have this problem? I thought of cutting a little off the release lever but I don't know if that would be a good thing or not?

Same issue on my 2180, the release is in the way, though I just force the mounting bracket on and all works fine.

Don't really use the release very often, if at all, so I am not overly concerned.

Really, my 2180 doesn't give me that problem. With the bagger on, I can pull it out to free wheel if I need to push it around, without a problem. The rear mounting until doesn't touch the tranny release lever, but it is tight to pull it out when the bracket is attached.

I would take a look at your mounting bracket. Its not welded, its bolted together. You may be able to raise one of the bars slightly and give yourself more room. Don't cut the release lever.
