Bad voltage regulator?

I like the adjustable units.. way easier than bending springs and arms to get prper gap and tension... tweaking mechanical vregs is almost a lost art.

Soundguy, you mentioned that there is a better way to polarize "B" circuit. My manual says that my Ford 3000 is a "B". What is the better way?
