BAd TAch on BX2350

Anyone else have a tachometer go out on their Bx2350. The digital readout is unreadable. Took the dash apart to see if there might be a loose wire. No luck the LED is soldered to the board. Called my dealer and they tell me you have to purchase the entire panel assembly which costs just over $200.

Of course the hour meter is out also so I (as much as I hated to ) ordered the new assembly.

Just wondered if any others have had this problem.

I havent had a problem on mine yet. During the winter when its really cold out, i noticed it would be dim, but barely still readable. Havent had to worry about it yet for almost 4 years. Do you still have lights on the digital readout when you turn the headlight on? IF not, then its either burned out completely or wiring issue for sure.
