But the real problem here is only city folk would buy these. These, just like those in many parks, do not make for a good fire. If you have to ask why, then you need to get out of the city.
We have a show on the PBS station that highlights country cookin. One of the guest showed how to cook a turkey in a galvanized trash can. Nothing like zinc oxide flavored bird.
That's what logical people would do. Only common sense. But then again, common sense is a rare commodity these days.I've heard of that before; but generally they preburn it and get rid of the galvanizing.
I like my truck rim; it doesn't burn out. Plus it was free. :thumbsup:
For ascetics you can build a rock wall around it so that it looks like a stone fire pit.
