OK I didn't die & go to heaven or that other place.

Mostly just in a bad mood & not in the mood to type. It may get worse, I am in the process of quitting smoking. That usually leads to me being a crab or worse.

Currently smoking Swisher Sweets. chew on them & let them go out several times. But even they are almost gone.

N0 $$$ No gas, for about 3 weeks. Also out of Hershey bars. Oh well life goes on.

Only the good die young.

I smoked for 42 years and "tried" to quit a zillion times.The day My cardiologist said I needed an angiogram I knew that meant I was in for a gutting and on the way home I lit my last Swisher Sweet,smoked half then threw it out and quit.None of the half azzed tries work , you just have to make up your mind to do it and tough it out. It's hard but well worth it.I'm the youngest of 8 kids and the only one still alive after 2 open heart surgeries,2 stents, a mitral valve clip and a ton of other problems. I'm sure I'd be gone years ago if I hadn't quit when I did. You can do it but you really have to want to.
Good luck I hope you get it done and I'm sure you will feel a lot better for it.

Had not seen a post. Tonight is the first frost here in Ohio. Time to get some wood in. Picked all my cherry tomatoes {green} and filled the basket with crumpled newspaper. Felt bad as still little yellow blossoms on many plants.

35 year Snoose Man! Started with Beechnut then RedMan then Copenhagen mixed with a little Garrett Snuff. Finally settled on Skoal fine cut. I spit for the first 10 years, then I quit spitting and started swallowing (didn't want to waste any of that "Honey Juice")!

Wife decided to quit her 30 year smoking habit and started vaping with 23mg of nicotine. It took a year and she was done with it all.

A short time later, I just quit the chew. I craved it every waking moment of every day for a year or so. I may have a pinch on my death bed but not before.

When the price of cigarettes topped $75 a carton and Skoal made it to $7 a can...it was time. A Three Thousand Dollar a Year Habit was over and done! Amen!

My quit time came for me when my doctor told me I have stage 4 prostate cancer. I dipped Skoal straight and copanhegen since I was 14 I'm only 55 now so my best advice is get yourself checked. Because a a year ago I was cutting wood and working 10-12 hrs a day now I can't even walk 200 ft. With out gasping for air and the cancer got in to my spine and pinched my nerves in my left leg no fun but by the power of my God I'm doing pretty good for my condition.

2 3/4 years now and I still miss having a puff but I know better. Funny thing is I don't know how I ever managed to pay for the darn things. I still struggle now yet I am paying out $200+ fortnight less.
Just had a biopsy on my prostate and got the all clear so it looks like I might hit 70 yet. Only 10 months to go.... LOL

God bless you and stay with it. That was a wake up call for sure but you sound like you are doing well.
