Jim, you mentioned your items not getting bids. I see your ROBIN HOOD plane has $46.70 in the shipping section but says $33.95 down below. Both are a bit steep for my blood. It also seems to be in the plans/templates/manuals section. Some of the other items have similar issues. Maybe that's a reason for your troubles.

E-bay was giving me fits. first description was erased, then pictures would not lad, then things would not post.

I mow have it at $33.95 & it is even possible that is not enough. PO charges by weight & then more for over size. It is a big heavy kit & very long & wide. I have lost $$ on several items lately.

Sort of a good breakfast. Hot cake with bacon inside, 2 eggs, but i did break the yoke. :laughing:

Got out another brand new kit, should be fairly valuable, very old collector item. In perfect condition. will go up for auction tomorrow evening.

Got 2 cast iron airplanes out, very old wall hangers good for a man cave. minor paint chips rust.

Got Harley plane & truck out & took pictures of everything.

Thanks for checking my auctions. Need all the help I can get.

Hi Folks,
Life goes on, on & on. I get grouchier every day. Health is about as good as it will ever get. If back pain & prostrate problems get solved I will be a very happy camper.

Having trouble with E-Bay & pay pal. Around $400 on hold, in about 19 days that will be released. Sure can use the $$$
1 Sale item lost, not returned to me, E-bay gave his money back, I'm out bot $ & kit. Never had anything on hold before. Even folks that have their item & are happy don't release the funds. Between E-Bay & pay pal they take their 20 / 25 % no matter what. Not doing so well their. Just about out of kits. Soon will move on to other category's.

Brand mew engines still in their box rusting up. Have so many taken apart now, getting all the right parts in the right engine will be another pain They are not selling anyway. Maybe latter in the year when folks are more interested in things other than the heat & vacations sales will be better. Have actually sold almost $700, spent too much thinking the good times would keep going.

1 Really good purchase, a floor jack in a nice plastic case, brand new for $30, no tax. Way on the other side of town, should I ever go there again will get another. 1 To keep in the truck & 1 around here.

Truck sill has its stutter, but keeps going. AC needs to be burped now & then. It gets a vapor lock, spray it down with water & its good to go for a while.

Bobby Girl is a bug factory. Take off a bunch and before long have to start over again. Get some good stuff that real soon. The weeds are full of ticks, so will never be able to get rid of them, They can live in hard dry dirt for years. Know that for sure, had to change a tire in a place like that, when done ankles were covered. Also they seem to come out laying eggs & breeding.

Oh Well since I can't change anything just go on living & doing what I can.

Ken glad you got you received the little book. Postage did not amount to much. No need to pay it back. Doubt that i will ever get a burger in town they are not that good. American cheese in no way is like real cheese. Even the milk shakes are crappy.

Sorry to hear about you brother. Not much else i can say.

Tombstone, Tucson, Gleason, White mountains. & the Huachuca Mountains were all good places to live. No more mostly all just tourist traps or housing developments. Went by the Healy ranch a few years ago. Totally destroyed or burnt down. That ranch was a real slice of heaven. It never occurred to me the Healy's were rich. Had I gone back there after leaving the Navy, Chances are I would own the place. A friend of my sister owned 5 acres there. No hope of ever getting water, she abandoned the property. Now track homes still being built. Lake mead at lowest level in almost forever. Some day & it may not be far off they will have no water.

State, county & Tucson spending money fist over hand. Where is it coming from, not enough property tax or sales tax to cover it.

Bought Doug some Bud light & me some Keystone made by Coors, Use to be good beer, does not taste good any more.

When the Bank was screwing with my card, a very mice little old lady paid $5.95 to the PO. There are some really nice people still left in the world.

Time to quit, computer & fire fox are actin up.

I haven't used eBay to sell in years. Sounds like it is quite different and a big hassle these days. I rely on Craigslist now.

At the start of spring we were covered up with ticks. Both big ones and the tiny ones. Someone on here had mentioned "tick tubes", a toilet paper roll with a wad of cotton inside treated with Pymethrin (IIRC). I was skeptical, but ordered a box of them. Too lazy to make my own.

To my surprise, they seem to be working! Tick population seems WAY down!
