Jim, it is not unusual for many of us to have "collected" things over the years and have many unfinished projects. I am happy to give away some stuff to someone that will use it. I may use CL or eBay at some point, but am hoping my daughter and son in law that live in Maryland move back to the northwest. They are interested in some of my stuff and then I would not need to sell it.

If you have things you want a specific person to get when you pass from this world, consider giving it to them now (if you are not needing it) and then you can see the joy of them getting it..

I had back pain for several years and know what you are saying about not being able to get much done... I am blessed with a wife that helps me with everything when I need it. She is not afraid to pick up a shovel and dig if needed.

Did you get your electrical problems figured out?

...If a person is not dreaming / planning you might as well give up. No reason to go on living....
I love that comment... I don't do it enough, have a friend that has plans and dreams that would take him 30 more years to do and he's 73!

Me too... my neighbor is 85 and he has a pile of used brick and still talks about putting in a patio with them. I have been looking at his pile for 8+ years now and have thought about asking if he wanted to get rid of them but I don't have the heart!

How quickly plans change. Was ready to post a new & hopefully fun story.
Had hands on key board, when boy is it getting hot in here. Maybe door is open., Nope, cooler pump not working. Change plug, check breakers, nope all good. OH crap the pump has died. Its hot & truck ac barley works, specially at low speed, a little better at hwy speed.

Get new pump, now too put it in. That went fairly well, pad fought me a little when putting it back. Good news, cooler now working. Sure not needed this AM, front door was open last night & it got pretty cold in house.

Going to lay down for a while. More later,
Jim

Not much to report other than frustration & aggravation

The wheels are in motion at the VA. Call DR. Said to wait by phone, Phoenix will call me. Phoenix, finally calls, they call Tucson VA. Tucson VA calls me. Get DR appointment, that will be in about 6 weeks. Go in get new x-rays, they had already taken them some time in the past. Dr will evaluate them & get a hold of pain management. It goes on & on & on. Maybe Dr will recommend that a civilian DR will take over & they , the VA will pay.

What next ***** cat???
Pee, Pee, Pee, - Poop, poop, & poop some more. Still going on.
Itch, Itch, & itch. Itch cream, muscle cream & body lotion + DMSO. things are still itching. Life goes on & on & on, just not much fun any more.

Yesterday accomplish nothing. Today very little. Feed birds, fill up dog pans. have a beer. Make
french toast, lots of butter & powdered sugar. Pretty good, had never done that before.

Doctor on Bobby a little, check for bugs, cut off hair clots & rub her down with body lotion. She does seem to be better. Sure hope so.

My ears magnify noise, her scratching & thumping on the floor sounds like someone beating a drum in my ear.

Enough whining & bitching.
Any of you remember "Kill Roy Was Here." Drew 1 up, will scan it some time.

Sure need to move forward a little. hose on power steering. key switch installed on tractor. Get scrap loaded in back of truck. 1 old battery, several junk battery chargers, a real heavy solid brass door jam, like you would see in a bank or Post office. It must weigh at least 35/40 pounds & last time I checked brass was 95 cents a pound. Batteries 9 cents a pound. Same for old motors. Not sure on any price, just living on hope.

Did some scanning & picture taking for listing stuff on E-Bay. May make a few $$$ there. 9 Precious gems, some of them are worth over $1,000 each. Will E-bayers pay that kind of $$$. Will list them cheap, even it will be a loss of $$, not going to do anything with them anyway.

Scanned & took pictures of kits, wood & plastic to use for E-bay selling. Lots more to go.

Typed a letter to VA DR, 1 for her & 1 for me. Not going to let her zero in on 1 thing & forget the rest. That is what normally happens.

Have to quit, back is having fits. lay down & hope it settles down. & I don't get another itch attack.

More another time.,
Jim

Good luck with the docs. Will you share your e-bay name or give a link to one of your items? It would be neat to see what you are selling.

Hello folks,Very little if anything new or exciting. See the roadrunner several times a day

At times I seem to go brain dead. have trouble remembering my own name at times. Need to get some of that beet juice & jelly fish stuff advertised on TV.:D:laughing:

E-bay name Is "jst4funjim" I hope to change it some day. Nothing is listed at the moment. Maybe later today or tomorrow.

Do any pf you remember "Kill Roy Was Here". Drew a picture of it & scanned it in. Will post it a little later. Very poor picture, drew it on the back of a paper plate & it did not scan very good.

Winning the mouse battle??? they eat the poison, caught 2 in 1 trap. Most of the time they just trip the trap & go have some more poison. Opened a drawer in the house & there was mother & child. Tried to get them with a rolling Pin. Of course I missed & just made noise.

The bug war rages on. Winning??? sure doubt it. Frisk Bobby every day, some times more than once. One day nothing next day several, male & female. None on her today, 1 on me. it did not get away.

its pee & poop (Prunes ??) most of the day & night. from 10 minutes to an hour. If I sleep to 2 hours its like a god send.

Right now almost ready to list on E-Bay are some very old & collectable kits. Some old plans, some old books.. hope to get some high $$$ gems listed. Sure need some home runs. This being broke sure sucks.

Sort of hate to sell it, but will never have any use for it. A solid brass threshold plate, must weight at least 35 + pound.
An old battery, a dead cooler motor, several dead battery chargers. Of course some beer cans.:licking: Life is good & the beer is cold.:licking:

1 Sure way to wake up is to get close to the bed & / or lay down. Was sitting on the deck today, sipping a beer & could hardly stay awake. Came in laid down & woke right up.

Potato Chips & onion rings.
My chips & rings do not even resemble the store bough stuff. Chips have the skin on them & I take them out before they get crispy. Just add salt. They are very good. Tried them with vinegar, pretty good & they sure gets your attention.
Onion rings, again mo resemblance to commercial rings. First try cooked them too long. Second try much better, more chunks than rings. soon as they turn clear time to eat. :licking:
made hot cakes one day, lots of butter & fake maple syrup, Very good.
Made French toast yesterday Lots of butter & powdered sugar. very good. But as normal for me, made a mess with the powdered sugar.
Had 2 cat fish, Dip in corn meal & some lemon pepper. Corn meal kept falling off as did the pepper. 3 Small bites, tender, but don't taste good. Bobby Girl had a good meal.
Made pizza a day or so ago. Tasted good, but its 1 with a hard crust. hurts mouth to eat it. more people food for the mutts.
Again. May heat it up scrape off the good stuff on the top. Cheat mutts out of the good stuff.
Fries has some fish I would sure like to try, but at $15,16 a pound. May be while before i try it.
There is a fish that tastes like steak. Do any of you know what if is.???

Back is giving me fits, hand full of pain pills, no help. Gave a couple to Doug, he took 1/2 pill & passed out & fell into his tub.
Speaking of Doug, he is building what he call his closet. He is putting the dumbest roof you can think of. Pointed like the top of a pyramid, no overhang & almost impossible to seal. I laughed at him & laughed as well. Said he was glad to see me laughing & happy.

Fairly sure summer is very close. 110/111 today. Weather channel says it will be 121 in Phoenix next Sunday. Its already down to 105, just right to go out & have a beer.:licking:

Birds sure love my weeds. Pretty red flowers all gone. Sour orange tree had some nice buds on it yesterday now all gone. First the eat the flowers & then dig for seeds & /or bugs.

As normal (for me) back is acting up. & the itches go no, feet get hot when I first get up. keep telling myself to get use to it,
Hard to get use to pain, burning & itching.
DMSO works pretty well, but nothing lasts very long. If you came through Tucson when the Gov. banned it in the early 70's on most every corner was someone with trunk open & holding up a bottle of . Something else for you too look up if you don't know what it is.

More later. If i can find the computer & how to type. A few reply's would be nice & appreciated.
Jim
