Quite the neighborhood.
I do love the quiet, just the quail, some crickets & that's about it. With people south of me gone, rare for a car to go by or try.

About a 1/3 of mile north of me there was a party. Drugs and / or alcohol, at some point one of them got pizzed off & tried to stab another one. 2 In the back & a small (5 stitches) cut to the throat. Police know who he is, but can't find him. Told he lives about 1/2 mile (straight line) north of me.

Several years ago the same group (family) had a party to celebrate one of them getting out of prison. 2 Brothers got in an argument, 1 went to bed in a little travel trailer, other brother set fire to it. Don't remember if the guy died or got out alive.

Criminal #2 ( Clinton)has hooked up with another guy that lives a couple of miles north of me. Have fairly reliable information they are now selling drugs. (Pot)

I just read this thread. Thanks for sharing, it makes for pretty good reading.

I have had similar issues with bad neighbors, I actually found him in
my deer stand early one morning a few weeks ago. I had planned to put
a friend in that stand that day and he was with me which helped keep things calm.

I do think he has got the message but time will tell.

In case you are wondering, no I am not a millionaire. My winning lottery ticket was a dud. But next week it will be a winner.

Learned that a guy about 10 /15 miles from me was also ripped off by good ole Ronny. I have the guys name & PH#, will give him a call. He runs some kind of a mechanics shop & may or may not have my torch, tanks, regulators, & pressure washer, + other small tools stolen from me.

He told a friend that he was or had buried a bunch of stuff, that rings true as he ask me about digging a hole for him as he had a lot of stuff to bury.

The quail, dogs & I are enjoying the peace & quiet.

Peace & quiet was too good to last. - Life goes on.
Made a good buy at the little swap meet near by. First was a brand new cap for $1.
Then a heavy rubber / plastic tub used for mixing plaster, in it was a propane Colman lamp, needed new glass, mantles & a base. Also a real RR cap, large pump up hot / cold thermos, like you see at coffee shops, couple of fairly good wheels. All of that & a little more for $5.

A few quiet days with only the quail making any noise, even dogs not acting up.

Ah! My wonderful neighbor Criminal #2s mother who has never fenced her yard or kept her dogs in.) called & said my new dog got out & chased her grand children. I had checked the fence a few days ago, but thought it best to look again. Nope no holes, my dogs could not get out.

She will not answer her PH, left her a message that what ever her problem was, it was not my dogs. Find someone else to blame for her short comings.

Criminal #2 told his running mate my new dog was vicious & had scratched his arm. Unless he was trying to get in my yard that was impossible.

I do like the idea that folks think my dog is mean & vicious. that will reduce temptation to come in my yard without me there.

Little Boy may kill me with love. Still thinks he can jump up into my arms & sit in my lap.

Had a weird dizzy spell a couple of days ago. All at once I was worse than someone on a 3 day drunk, dizzy, sick to my belly. Had to hold onto a book case to stay standing, staggered down the hall using the wall to stay up. Made it outside & sat down, in about 5 minuets it passed.

Must be from drinking beer from a can. Just read that cans & plastic bottles have some chemical in them that causes plack, heart problems, ETC. A few thousand more cans & it may kill me.

Really enjoy you stories. Your last comment reminded me of a guy I talked to last week. He said he was in the medical research field. And there has been a pattern amungst people with Alzheimer's and the level of aluminum deposits in the brain. Alzheimer's patients showed higher levels of aluminum. He referenced aluminum can and acidic beverages.
