Backup camera for watching rear implements?

I tried a rear view mirror. It was a waste of time. Too much vibration. I don't expect any type of camera would be any better.
A solid mount does wonders for vibration reduction.

I suspect where and how a camera is mounted plays a significant role in vibration. I have a rear camera mounted on the underside of the cab, and it provides a stable image.

An old thread but an even older problem.

A portable camera system isn't difficult to make. I made one from a fairly cheap wireless camera system and used power tool batteries to power it. Magnets hold the cameras to any metal surface making it easy to keep an eye on implements. It's particularly handy in tractor cabs to line up the FEL with SSQA implements. It's also great for lining up pallet forks with the FEL at max height.

Here's a thread on how it was done:

The referenced thread about installing a camera was the motivation for me doing it as the first upgrade after I bought my tractor in 2019.

I installed one camera under the roofline of the cab looking backwards. The other is connected to a base with rare earth magnets so I can move it from bucket to grapple to forks.

While I do have a cab, so sunlight isn't a problem, it is the best upgrade I've done to my tractor.

I find it indispensable for picking up rocks (I can actually see what I'm doing) when I'm using the grapple.

If you guys have a sun shade you can mount
your camera on it just have to look up but I
believe that you will be able to see the screen
if you can't just tape some card board around it
My mirrors on the cab will try to turn them so I
can see behind me I mean dead center so I can
see what the equipment is doing

Its very easy to add a cigarette lighter. you
can always use a smaller fuse as they come in various
amps.
