What is the pressure I need to run a backhoe with my 1720?

I would ask what pressure does the backhoe need and at what GPM flow. A while back someone here stated PTO driven units are really worth considering. One of the reasons was if you have a failure of either system and metal is sent through the system, it only affects one system. Mine is a PTO driven system and it uses a different fluid than my tractor. Additionally, every time you make or break a fitting into a system you have the potential of putting debris into the system.

Relief valve setting is 1800 psi + or - . If you are asking what maximum pressure should be.

Yes that is what I mean. I had to tie into the loader bucket because I cannot get the it valve block that I need to do it the factory way and the attachment barley moves. I can check the pressure but do not know how to check GPM.

Does your loader control have a power beyond port ? If it doesn't you will need to add that if you are connecting to the loader spool control.

Welcome to TBN - first, when you ask a question it's better to give a few more details - like what make of tractor, there are sometimes more than one brand with same model #'s - if, like Chander, yours is a Ford -

lists your expected flow, but actually MEASURING it can be a bit tricky/messy... Steve
