I've got a chance to pivk up a John Deere 48 backhoe for a good price. Could it be adapted to mount on my Branson 3820? Thanks in advance.

If you know what you are doing you should be able to modify it to fit.
I have a Branson 3510 and I bought a new leftover Jinma Hoe on ebay for $2200. I had to modify the subframe to fit my tractor and add rear hydraulics. I do have a fabrication/Welding shop so it wasn't very hard for me.
I did have problems with the Chinese hose fittings and had to make some adapters but I powered through it.

I am 99% sure that the deere backhoe is made by Ameriequip which is the same maker of the Branson backhoe. You can more than likely pick up the right sub frame from a Branson dealer and it should bolt right up!:thumbsup:
As far as I know that Deere 48 is in fact an Amerequip 8600, which is what I have on a C42 (Large Frame).
It should fit right on if you can get a sub frame - getting a sub frame could be a problem.
