Backhoe project for this winter any input appreciated

I just won at auction a John deere 8 B Backhoe , with a sub frame . But I have a new holland 1925 tractor . I have a winter project ahead . Anybody done something similar? I havent picked it up yet so I havent seen it in person . Same auction I got a vibratory single drum roller , a grade blade , a 3 pt post hole with a couple bits , a 3 pt tiller , a billy goat leaf sucker and a pull behind spreader . All for 2 thousand

Sounds like you got a good deal for all those attachments.

Making a subframe for the BH isn't hard, if you search this site it's been discussed in length so there should be plenty of info and pictures to look through.

When I built my BH I copied Kubota's mounting for the factory hoe, my subframe stays on the tractor all the time. Tractor side hoe side

Like TMGT said, it's not difficult if you're willing and have a few basic tools to do the work. I adapted an NH backhoe to a Kioti. Opposite setup from TMGT subframe stays connected to the backhoe, I made the brackets the subframe hooks onto. The subframe was already on the backhoe but I had to cut off the stock connections and add my own to mate up with the brackets I made.
