2014 kubota L4600
I have a inch for a Hoe for my L4600. I am looking at a ANSUNG MODEL : BK440 the price is $5200. A Bota Hoe is $8900,,, At $3700 difference the ANSUNG : BK440 looks inviting. I have never owned a Hoe are ran a Hoe I would like to dig stumps on my property. I would like opinions on these and the difference I may see in operating them.

This what I see on the specs
Bota weight 1953 lbs
ANSUNG 1300 lbs

Dipper stick digging force
Bota 3968 lbs
ANSUNG 3080 lbs

digging force using bucket cyl
bota 5906
No spec for ANSUNG

L Series

Make sure your hoe attaches to a subframe that is attached to a significant portion of the frame. If its only connected to the 3pt, you are going to break things.

The Kubota is going to require a subframe, which is probably included in that price.

Which Kubota BH is your reference? By the bucket curl of 5906 it sounds like the Kubota BH92 rather than the BH77. The Ansung you reference sounds closer to the Kubota BH77.
I am just asking if the comparison is an equivalent. $3700 is a difference. I looked at the Ansung site and it wasn't real clear on a couple of specs and with the subframe they look ok in photos, but have you seen them in person? I think you will enjoy having a BH, just take your time comparing models so you are aware of small differences that may make a difference for your use.

I would think someone on the forum would have an Ansung BH, I know I have read threads concerning their loaders. Don't they manufacture some attachments for other manufacturers?

Did you look at any other aftermarket BH's for your Kubota?

My opinion is paint all the stumps you want removed, and hire a stump grinder or rent a little track hoe. Otherwise it seems like a bunch of money to spend for something that might not be used very often.

I will have to call him to nail down the model he did had me a pamphlet and the BT100 is the only one that will fit my yractor by the info he gave me... He also sells the ANSUNG and has one mounted to a smaller bota (the first one he has tried). I have looked at a Woods but not priced one... There is a Woods Backhoe BH90-X on the local craigslist but the dealer said the frame would not fit my tractor...

And you may win the cigar :)... I called a bud that has a JD110 TLB he said come and get it and give it a go... He predicts it would take him (experienced) 40 hr to dig what I have ready at this time... He said a real track hoe would do the job in about 1 1/2 days TOPS.... BTW 90% are pine stumps in the 18 to 6" range.... I have the cash to buy a hoe are hire it done I also think I would enjoy doing it my issue is do I have the time.... It took me 6/7 years to cut and clear the brush working maybe 7 days a year at it... Winter project and wife went thru cancer/stroke issues that took her life... I own a Garage my real money is in the shop but I am nearing retirement and enjoy getting back outside and playing on the tractor... So it just a big boys toy what can I say..

I didn't buy a tractor because I needed fields mowed, plowed or dirt moved. I bought a tractor because I wanted a dam tractor. Well actually I wanted cool big boy toys like a dozer, trackhoe, skidsteer or what not. I ended up with a tractor because it was the easiest to justify & perform required jobs.

Personally I'm likely to find an old used mini-excavator in the $10-15k range before I get a hoe for my tractor.

If you get enjoyment out of playing on your equipment and/or doing your own projects, by all means do it even if the economics don't always add up. Even there, you can usually resell your gear when you are done with it for a substantial part of what you paid for it if you treat it well & aren't using it commercially.

You could modify the subframe to fit or buy the correct subframe from Woods. I have the BH90x and it is a very strong BH.
