Thanks for clearing that up. I get a little defensive about something that has consumed as much time as I have put in trying to fix these goofy fittings. As far as I can tell they don't have anything. Heres a cad side pic of what I have to work with. The right hand fitting is the one I made up out of a 3/8 F to 3/8 F swivel connector. You can see the o-ring in a groove around the passage on the factory fitting.
