I lost a tooth off my backhoe bucket, it is the kind that you beat in on the sides. Does anyone know where I could find a supplier?

Thanks

I believe what you are referring to is called a 'peen on' style. Do you need just the tooth and the shank is OK? I have seen the tooth/shank sets on Ebay but finding just the tooth would be a little harder. Likely need to try a dealer for whatever manufacture of hoe you have.

If you have a Bob Cat dealer in the area check with them. At least here they stock a pretty good assortment.

Call the local general engineering/ heavy civil/hwy/ pipeline contractors in your area. They'll know of suppliers that deal primarily with cutting edges, teeth, shanks, etc. Dealers will put a decent markup on these items.

I get mine for my little JD hoe from my JD dealer, under $10 each. I have to heat them a bit in order to peen them. Sometimes I even tack them with some 6013.....
