Backhoe Backhoe Brands?

I'm a new guy to the tractor thing. Looking at a Kubota and would like to know what backhoe is better Woods or Kubota's or is there a better brand?

Woods used to build kubota hoes. Don't know if they still do. It is a safe bet Kubota does not build their own.

If you're asking whether somebody is going to end up with a product that doesn't work right or performs in an inferior manner by choosing Woods or OEM Kubota, no, neither product is a piece of junk and neither product is always, but always the "best".

You have to take time to define the word "better" in a more precise way to make much sense of this.

Just to give a couple examples: A Kubota factory BH would be specifically designed for the tractor and may have a more compact, theoretically stronger fit than a backhoe of more generic design. That would make the Kubota product "better".

But the non-Kubota product might have different options and configurations available that are not offered with the factory BH, making the non-OEM hoe "better" for some users.

So you have to consider the features, options, the dealer, the price... in short, look at the total package... in the context of the requirements. There is no single answer for which is always "best".
