Found this back hoe attachment on Craigslist. Would it work on my L4740? Is the price look reasonable? Thanks.

I think it might be a little small for your tractor. The BH 92 is what is usually put on that size machine. You will still need the subframe to mount it so make sure that you can get one for your tractor.

I bought a BH90 a couple months ago with 200 hrs. on it for $3500. If this helps you any.

Kubota BH76 Backhoe

Price seems reasonable. But that hoe is going to be very small on that machine, and the biggest potential issue is whether or not a subframe is available for it. My new BH77 install manual, if I recall correctly, didn't show a subframe for that big of a machine. You'll need to verify with a dealer.
