Babies are poping up all over.

I thought it was unusual for so early in the spring ..... but yesterday I spotted a baby painted turtle walking across the driveway on his 200 yard journey to the ponds. He was smaller than a half dollar.

I really thought it was too early.

Then today a Mamma Goose shows up with eight chicks.

Wow, that does seem early for turtles. We just saw our first goslings of the year.
