OK,

I let my brother borrow my b7800 w/ 16.2 hrs on it to move a little dirt....it came back with 18.5 hrs and left my brother wondering....and since i don't mow w/ it I had no answer.

For a 72" finish mower, which do people like MM or rear?

Can you mow in high, or only medium?

Thanks,
Michael

Algebra. I love it. He used the tractor for 2.3 hours. It took him .5 hours of work and 1.7 just crusing around showin' off in front of the neighbors.
I should mow in any gear, it's the hydro, it ain't no gas pedal.
I have a B7500HST and the first 2-3 times I mowed it was in low (only low & high on those) and then after I got more use to the tractor started mowing in high.
It's the hydro. Very important to remember it's not a gas pedal or throttle.

I have a 2910 with 72” MMM mower. I would vote it as the best setup for the 7800, 27-2910 tractors. Easy to put on and take off. Allows for easy view of the mower while cutting. Very maneuverable. The one drawback is that it will not get under trees that have low hanging branches. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I mow in Medium range. Could use High, but tractor is way to fast in this range for my rough lawn. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
