B7800 - hydro screen bolt - SIZE?

Hello All-

I could use some help here. I am just about done with my 300 hours service, with the exception of cleaning the hydro screen. The bolt (conveniently located behind the left rear wheel!) is a little tough to get to. I believe that it is a 25 mm, but I don't know for sure. I have done my best to measure with what I have, but before I order it (nobody near me has anything near this size) I thought I would check here to see if anyone knew for sure, perhaps went through the same thing... I am also going to get a set of calipers to measure when I can get back to the tractor, but this would save some precious time. This work thing sure gets in the way some times.... If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for all of the help here folks... seriously though - for future reference - the bolt size on a b7800 transmission screen is 27 mm. I called my dealer & they were kind enough to help me out. For the record, there was very little on the screen itself after 300 hours...

I think you'll find a 1 1/16" socket or wrench will fit very well.

Just finished my second complete fluid & filter change at 300 hours. I also use an 11/16 inch socket, and yes it is hard to get to. That is why I take the rear tire off. Makes taking out the screen filter and replacing the spin on filter so much easier on my B-7800.
