Help! I noticed that one of my headlight bulbs was out so I opened the hood and here the bulb was still burning, it had just fallen out. So I figured it just needed to be twisted back in. Couldn't get the plastic ears/clips to catch and since it was dark I just decided to twist the other bulb out and see what the ears should look like. Bad idea!
The plastic ears are dry rotten and broken off. Now bith bulbs are rattling around under the hood! Can I buy these as a replacement somewhere or what should I do? I know I can just glue them on but what do I do when the bulb burns out later? Is there a good led fix, but I still have the problem that my plastic ears are gone so can I just buy the new bulb socket and 12" extension that plugs in then to the underhood wiring?
