Tractor
kubota B7500
i ve been thinking about this tractor for a couple of weeks, but havent pulled the trigger. im looking for the bare tractor, i will add a rear mower this summer. for now ill be using it to grade my driveway and move snow. my local dealer who sells tractors to the more wealthy people in the county has quoted me 10400. is this a fair price? i think i have a way to get out of paying taxes on it.(my grandparents have 3 large farms here in central ohio and i will give them the money to pay for it and use their farm exempt #. i see alot of cheaper prices down south but the delivery eats up the difference thanks , what a great website joe

Seems like a reasonable price. You should consider the FEL with the purchase if you can afford it. Would save money in the long run instead of adding it later. Perhaps you could finance it to help with the cost. I bought a B2410 with FEL about 3 to 4 years ago for about 15,900 with tax. Financing then was about 8%. Nowadadays it seems that Kubota and others provide better financing rates. I sold my B2410 and bought the BX23 with 0% financing from Kubota.

I have ordered a B7610HSD with LA352 Loader with foldable ROPS and is arriving home to POP on Monday. I can't wait! I paid $12,850. Based on a lot of research and comments from this site, I felt this was a fair price. I did look at the JD4115, but didn't like the price. Hope this gives you some idea of price range. Good luck in your search.

As Nik said...consider the loader.

The loader just about doubles the utility of the tractor.

If there is any way you can swing it, get the loader with the tractor. You will thank yourself later. Seems like 99 percent here would agree.

He who doesn't agree please step forward! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Seriously, maybe someone who regrets his decision will appear. Doubt two will though... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you can swing it, get the loader with the tractor. If not, GET THE TRACTOR!

That seems like a fair price...but all I can tell you is that last summer when demand was high, I paid around 10.300 for a BX2200 with MMM... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The 7610 is a lot more tractor than a bx. But I have a B2910 too, so what do I care, right? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll second Henro on the loader. I will never buy another tractor without a loader.

I have a B7510 with LA272 loader and am very pleased with it at 24 hours on the clock.

The price sounds reasonable. Ditto the other loader comments. Also, be sure to insist on the custom orange paint job with metal tone emblems and decals. My dealer threw it in at no extra cost.

10,400 seems like a decent price. I saw them discounted to I think it was 11,500 in Jackson, MI this week. 13 something with the 352 loader.

I'm thinking of getting a Kioti CK25 or CK30 instead, more tractor, for about the same price.

CurtC,

I was in Manchester the other week and saw what I think was a Kioti Dealer. By that I mean that there were three new Kiotis sitting together in the parking lot, all by themselves, no other equipment around. This was on M52 on the north end of town, west side of the road. I would normally stop and check something like that out, but it was raining like crazy.

Best Regards,

The Kioti dealer in Manchester is K&W Equipment. They have a Case sign out front but the lot is full of Kioti's (4 CK30's, and a couple of bigger DK's earlier this week). Hope all the CK30's aren't gone by the time I convince my wife we need one. Funny how there is only one Kioti dealer for MI in the TBN directory - K&W is listed as a dealer on the Kioti website.

If your looking for B7610, Dakim's in Jackson has a bunch of Kubotas on their lot ready to go. Not sure if there's a B7610 but there was a B7800 last week.

Yep, been to K&W, both ck25 and ck30 HSTs out front now, and Dakin's is where I saw the 2610 w/loader this week for 13,500 I think it was.

I'm leaning heavily towards the Kioti 25 or 30.

jbdillon -

I think the $10,400 sounds fair for the tractor alone - I'm guessing @ $2,500 more for the loader.

Definitely get the loader too - calling it a "power wheelbarrow" is my favorite term - but that WAY understates its' usefullness. Even though my B7610 was purchased to replace an old riding mower - I knew I'd have other chores needing the power of a loader.

Check the pics on my website for different ways I use my B7610 - link in my signature. Love my B7610 - no regrets at all! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

HENRO: i will NOT DISAGREE!!!! i consider my LOADER AS HAVING A TRACTOR ATTACHED.

Couldn't agree more. When I bought my B7400, I wasn't going to get an FEL until the dealer talked me in to it. Boy, am I glad he did. I would never buy another one without.

We too are having our 7610 delivered on Monday - Hooray! We are in SoCal and have ended up with tractor, FEL, and scraper for $14.2. We finally found a somewhat local dealer in Ontario that met the TBN standard: a good dealer is verry important. Thanks to the TBN group I feel secure and informed as we commit to a specific tractor!!

Congratulations on the delivery of your 7610. I visited my dealer yesterday and they were getting the tractor ready for delivery on Monday. Since the dealer had to pick up the tractor from another dealer in the area, this was the first time I saw it. I am really impressed with the tractor as well as the dealer. Sales man spent a lot of time with me going over everything. I originally test drove a 7510 that was on their lot, but decided to go with extra horse power. I also forgot to mention on my previous posting that I ordered a front "tooth bar" for front loader which was an extra $350, but worth it.
