I've read the other "won't start" threads, but nothing there seems to apply to my older B7500HST. No seat interlock, no fwd/rev, clutch, pto interlocks that I can see anywhere and wiggling those levers doesn't seem to help in any case. There is an interlock relay between the keyswitch and the solenoid, and it's driven from a little electronic module behind the relay .. but what controls that relay in the 7500? It's been about a year since I could start it with the key .. I've been hotwiring the solenoid. Keyswitch is OK, relay looks good (coil resistance is normal). Any clues?

If it it a hydrostatic drive try rocking your hydrostat pedal back and forth allowing it to find it's sweet spot. There is a safety interlock there. Work with it a little. Patience.

Zeke7237 - My 2003 B7500 HSD has three interlocks: Clutch pedal must be depressed. Speed control (foot) pedal must not be pressed (neutral position). PTO gear shift lever must be in neutral position.

Best Wishes, Rusty

Yah, I found the pto and clutch switches, still looking for the fwd/rev. Looks like the clutch and PTO are both way out of adjustment.

Anyone need a spare keyswitch? I've got an extra one I don't need :(

Is it free? Does it come with the B7500? :)

I've never had a problem with mine starting except the typical levers etc in the wrong position, best of luck on figuring it out.

My 03 B7500 has only done this once and I found out that the PTO (540) was enguaged by mistake when I got off of it.It took me until the next day to figure it out.Simple mistake......

No, but I'll make a good deal for someone .. messicks won't take back electrical parts :(

I got it going this evening .. the PTO switch was way out, I had to move it almost all the way in to get it to hit. Clutch switch was way out too, but I was able to just bend the contact plate up a bit. Starts just fine now!
