OH.. that was bad, really bad.. I tell you what, I will put my Kioti "POS"
up against your L3400DT "POS" in any kind of pushing or pulling contest you want:laughing::laughing::laughing: It will pull that L3400DT backwards. And I didn't just make that up... by the way POS does stand for Point Of Sale right?:D:D Anyway, It is all good,

If you wasnt too far away, I'd take you up on that. Then we could see (in all seriousness) if R1's can make up a little for lack of weight vs your heavier tractor with R4's.

And if that dont work, I'd drive it over the 1.5 ton limit bridge and park just on the otherside so you cant get to me:laughing: And then get out the BIG 2wd BH and drag YOU around:laughing:

That would be interesting to see, I forgot about your R1 tires. But seriously I believe my Kioti would have drug my L3400 also with R4 tires backward.. This new tractor just powers thru the gravel pile. The extra weight seems to make a lot of difference. I find myself in 2WD most of the time now, and with the L3400, even with loaded tires and my ballast box, I kept in 4WD most of the time to get anything done here in hilly Branson. No doubt your big old honking backhoe would drag both of our tractors put together around. There is no substitute for weight and size. I am guessing on a hard surface my Kioti would win in a pulling contest with your R1 equipped L3400, but in mud, that might be a different story.. I will tell you what LD1, I wish you were here to play with this Kioti, the thing is awesome, and I think you would like it a lot.. come on over to the dark side, trade off that that little 'bota and get yourself a big honking Kioti! When I think of the amount of money I paid for the 'bota and for a few hundred dollars more I could have had this Kioti, it chaps my a**.

Take Care..

Yep. Same tires, same power, same surface, more weight will win everytime.

Probabally right:D ~18,000 lbs and most of that being over the Big 16.9x28 rears:D

Probabally right. Pavement or really hard packed/dry ground, you'd probabally win. But R1's really shine when it is just soft enough for the lugs to sink in:thumbsup: With the loader and loaded tires, I am at ~4000lbs. I am guessing you are at 5000lbs. I think that would be a wash. I dont think either one of us would move the other. BUT...I'd get to china a lot quicker spinning tires:D

No trade in my near future. I am happy with the kubota. Kioti wasnt as popular 6 years ago when I bought mine, and there were no dealers around. But I will say, my next tractor, whenever that may be, I will definatally look hard at the kioti. I have always wished I had a little bigger tractor. But when I bought the kubota, it was for a mower with "some" tractor work on the side. And the L3400 is about as big as I wanted to go to be a mower.

Now that I have the Big BH, My desire for a bigger tractor has been fulfilled. 4500lb lift on the FEL to ~12' high and 20' reach with the BH,
