B7500 Question again

Is the B7500 as powerfull as everyone says they are? I'm about 95% sure that's what I want.I've read alot of quotes from here and it seems like everyone is very happy with theirs.I will have to make my final decision in a day or two to make sure I get the low interest rate which goes off at the end of the month. Fill me in some more and help me make my decision.
I will be using it for some landscaping around the house and bush hogging about 1/3 of an acre. Other than that just something to play with.

Don716, The B7500 will be more than enough tractor for what you want to use it for. It handles a 4ft. brush hog with ease & for fel work, I've never ran out of power. Believe me, the B7500 is a workhorse, well worth the money.

From the limited information in your post, I would say that with 95% accuracy the B7500 will do all that you need it to do. Any upgrade to a more powerful tractor will simply mean getting the job accomplished quicker.

Are you getting a finish mower?

If I had a finish mower, I don't believe that I would purchase a rotary mower (bush hog) just to mow 1/3 of an acre. With a 60" finish mower (mid or rear mount) on your B7500 it would take about 20 minutes (or less) to mow that 1/3 acre.

I would tend to agree...if the ground can be improved enough to run a finish mower over it. I have two acres I am trying to improve, and bought a rotary cutter just because it was the only way to start improving it... When it is all over, there will still probably be some parts that I will brush hog a couple times a year, but hopefully there will also be some parts that grows grass well and the finish mower will do the work there... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sure seems like a third acre could be made smooth pretty easily...good project for a toothbar on the loader and a box blade on the back...both can be purchased for about the same amount as a low end rotary cutter... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered mine today.I got the B7500 HST with a 302 Loader. It will be in my yard be the weekend and I can't wait. Can some of you post some pictures of your tractors in action?? I would love to see what these little beasts can do.

Yes, it's the B7500HSD with about 90 hours on it. One thing about moving all this stone is that it really has done a number on my R4 tires. A few of the treads have big chunks hanging loose /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

I do have a toothbar, though it took a long time for my dealer to get it to me. Loading the bucket without it took a lot of practice to get a decent technique.

Luckily, I've done most of the rock moving and will be moving into firewood moving and landscaping next (not to mention snow removal this winter, YIKES). I do look forward to my seat time, though (or my Kubota Therapy as my wife calls it!)

Yet another use for a FEL. Today my neighbor had a problem with a large wasp nest above his shop. He was going to call an exterminator. My son and I looked at each other and I know we were thinking the same thing. THIS IS A JOB FOR THE KUBOTA. We just had to be a little creative. Within 5 minutes we had duct taped a 10 foot pipe with hose fittings to my loader bucket. We attached the hose to one end and a "driveway sweeper" nozzle to the other end and we were finally ready to bring (to quote my son) "Shock and Awe" to those **** wasps. After a few test shots well away from the nest, I was able to get within about 30 feet and aim the pipe at it. I turned the water on, made one minor little adjustment to my aim with the FEL and then ran like hell. I did take the time to get my camera with a good telephoto lens and took a picture from a distance. Just another day with the Kubota.
