B7500 Demographics

I have often wondered about the demographics of TBN’s B7500 ownership, so I did some research. This is not exhaustive, but it is representative.

Of the approximately 42 registered B7500 owners sampled...

Average Lot Size of those reporting = 7.92 Acres

Of those reporting attachments:

64% own an FEL
42% own a mid-mount mower
35% own a box blade
21% own a rear finish mower
30% own a rear blade
21% own a rotary cutter (brush hog)
16% own a tiller
14% own a snowblower
7% own a backhoe

Sorry, I was a little late getting registered for inclusion in your count but here I am. New B7500HST, new attachments and not near enough time to play. It was a touch and go for a while deciding between a BX2200 or the B7500 but the extra ground clearance won out. So for, its been a blast.

I think that is very interesting especially that only 42 percent have a MMM and even less at 21 percent have a rear mower it leads me to beleive that the 7500 is rarely used for mowing, more than half or even 3/4 of owners then do not own a mower for their 7500. Am I reading this right. I wonder what the BX demographics are? I bet they all have a MMM. Veeery interesting!!!.
What is more intersting to me that folks go to the 7500 rather than the 2410,I got a good deal on mine it seems and the dealer having remembered my history never even tried to sell me one. He went right to the 2410, bigger engine, bigger tires, bigger FEL, position control (not to be un PC on PC but it really is very useful), better seat, more 3-point capacity, a bit more weight and other stuff and all in the same basic size. I suppose it is just a price thing. The loader has 110 lbs more lift capacity and the 3-point is 300 lbs more capacity. Those are significant numbers if one were to be trying to get max performance in the smallest package possible.

Maybe you should look at it as 42% mow with a Mid Mount and 21% mow with a rear finish mower, or 63% mow with the B7500.

I think your pretty close to right here, the BX excels as a Lawn Mower.

I will look more closely at the stats, but I think Twinkletoes is correct.

Also keep in mind this is not comprehensive. A few 7500 owners reported no attachments. I doubt they bought it for transportation.

All I know is the B7500 is a great machine. Does a little bit of everything in my neighborhood. Neighbors call it "tractor bonding"

Congrats on joining the club. And thanks for the stats.

I got mine this past fall, but I had my first opportunity 2 weeks ago to do some REAL front loader work.....moving a bunch of logs around. Until now, it's been mostly tractor rides for the kids.....and their parents who want to be kids.

And soon it will be time for the serious mowing work to begin. I'm smiling!
