B7100 HST MMM DECK

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 1995 B7100 HST WITH A 60" MOWER AND THE MANUAL SAYS THAT THE MOWER WILL CUT UP TO 4" . MY DECK HIT THE REAR STOP AND THE BLADE IS JUST 3" OFF THE CONCRETE. THE TIRES HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF AIR , AND I DON'T SEE ANY OTHER ADJUSTMENT WHAT AM I MISSING. IT LOOKS LIKE THE ANTI SWAY BRACE IS JUST ABOUT 1/2" FROM THE DRIVE SHAFT, AND THE FRONT STOP FOR THE DECK ARE ABOUT 1 " FROM MAKING CONTACT. ANY IDEAS?

I read what you are saying but spoke out to me....

What tires are on the machine? The R4, turf, or the ags? I'm going somewhere with this.

Is the rear Anti-scalp wheel in a bad way? Front rollers OK?

When I changed to turfs from the R4s, they installed stops on my MMM to keep the mower from coming in contact with the (now) larger diameter tires.

THE TIRES ARE TURF THEY CAME ON THE TRACTOR WHEN NEW. TRACTOR ONLY HAS 475 HRS ON IT , THE DECK IS NO WHERE NEAR CONTACT WITH THE TIRES. THE ONLY REASON I CAN SEE FOR THE STOP SET SO LOW IS TO KEEP THE ANIT- SWAY BRACE FROM COMING IN CONTACT WITH THE DRIVE SHAFT. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE REAR ANTI SCALP WHEEL , I WILL CHECK IT IN DAY LIGHT. MIKE

Below are pics from the one I bought last week. Might be the same setup? The wheels on the deck are adjustable, they have pins you can move them up and down?

My first Kubota was a 1995 B7100HST similar to yours. It is a great machine and I loved it. However, I was never successful at raising the mower very high.

On my B7100 the 60" mower does not rise very high either. Chances are you are at maximum height possible.
