B7100 3 point hitch keeps dropping

I have a 1980 B7100 HST. I recently changed the fluid, round filter and cleaned the screen filter on the bolt. I thought this would help with my problem, but it has not. Whenever I raise my 3 point hitch epecially with any weight, it slowly keeps going down so that I have to keep an eye on it. Does anyone have any ideas? It does not seem to be losing fluid so I can only imagaine that it's getting air into the line.

I'm not sure how to describe it, but it sounds as if you have a leaking internal cylinder seal that's letting it bleed down. Do you have a workshop manual? I imagine they call it a rockshaft cylinder, but don't know for sure. It'll be in the housing under the seat. The other possibility is the the valve itself leaking.

Yepper, you have a leaking cylinder seal or valve, time to go thru the 3pt lift hyd and rework things. I havent had to do one yet at the dealership, but have heard we have one coming in soon for it. Mike

Mine is a 1977 DT and had the same problem, the o-ring in the internal lift cylinder was worn out. See this thread for pics etc. on how I fixed mine:
