I’m wondering if this thing is like many older cars in that if I disconnect battery and it dies that generally means alt is no good?
Won’t hold a charge, fairly new Wally World batter ( about 3 years old with a 5 yr warranty)
Anyone change an alt in one of these? I have very little experience with diesel Kubota’s
I believe it’s in front of water pump?
No wait there is no water pump is there 🤪

You should have a dynamo-an AC generator of sorts with an external regulator.
Very reliable!
You should really check the DC charging voltage before condemning anything.
Good Luck!

I agree with Number Two. First check if the thing is actually charging or not. Then proceed from that.

I had a B7000 that broke the solder on the diodes of the rectifier that sits behind the dash. That caused it to not charge.
