I usually do not frequent this colored Forum, but I would like some feedback as to the B4200. After 20 years of trying to convince my friend that he needs a tractor he has finally decided to "bite the bullet" and purchase a B4200 in good condition with 1400 hours on the engine . Included in the $4250 asking price is a FEL, rear blade, and landscape rake. I know his property pretty well. In reality he needs to move snow in the winter and rotary cut ~7A's of horse pasture. With 10HP off the rear PTO I would think a 48" rotary cutter would be all he could handle. I will say his horse pasture has been pretty well maintained. Thanks in advance- Jay

Jay,
They were good little tractors. I don't know how well it will handle a 48" bush hog- I think Kubota offered a 44'"MMM on those tractors-my old high school principal had one. If the pasture has been maintained, and your friend goes slow-he'll probably do all right with a 48" rotary mower.
