I wonder if anyone knows who makes the loader valve on the B3350 (and likely many other Kubota products). I took a look at the valve on my tractor but don't see anything obvious.

My understanding is that Kubota makes their own loaders at least on newer models. About loader valves ... hmmm not sure. If you locate a parts book on your loader model you can find the brand/model loader valve there I'd think. Mine here at home is a BX2200 and I can't get at it to see a name on it. Maybe I can clean it up and try to see the brand and model.

I have a NIMCO loader valve on a larger MF tractor which has been the source of several problems. Biggest source of trouble in my opinion is that many of the loader valves are needlessly complex and too prone to operational failures or mismanufacturing issues. Having a special feature to dump the bucket faster for commercial people who want to run their loaders faster than they would with a simple loader valve, too many varieties of float versus non float, on and on. The basic, simple, small tractor loader valves in my opinion are far better for the average non-heroic user like me.

I would like to contact whoever makes the valve and see if they have a different spool that does away with the weird regen feature on the bucket dump

Man I can see that !! That is exactly the problem area I had with my NIMCO loader valve on a MF2660. Long story shortened my dealer replaced it once, the replacement right out of the parts depot was also bad, AGCO parent of MF denied the concept of anything wrong, I found several on lots with the SAME disease, finally went to direct dealings with NIMCO and they admitted several bad ones got out into the field (including some I knew got into AGCO parts depots!) NIMCO sent me a repair kit which I put in myself.
I doubt that you can dig deep enough to talk the loader valve people into a different spool. Long shot at best.
Not sure about your B3350 but my BX2200 loader has the valve up inside of the loader frame such that it is darn near impossible to get at it and that also means going to some other valve is messy and will leave a strange looking machine. There are plenty of good, simple loader valves out there, ones without that trouble prone regen for quick dump feature, that are not terribly expensive ($100 to $200 range.) Simple is better in my opinion.

What is weird about it and what issues is it causing you that you are wanting to go to the lengths of changing it?

I had one kubota with a two position dump....I could power dump or regen dump. Current tractor is only a one position valve, which is regen only. Never a problem with either.

SO what issues are you having and maybe there i an explination

I'm using the curl/dump positions to run an orbital motor - it works fine and can feather as needed to the left but to the right has you jumping past the first section and into the second detent part which lacks control. I have put restrictors inline to limit the speed but it isn't the ideal situation. I even went and modified the loader lever mount to allow switching the cables and make that function work but then I lose the float position on the lift so switched it all back to original.

It's a front mount snowblower that I use commercially around 7hrs a day (when it snows!) so I need the float position on the lift and would like the ability to control the chute turn as a normal valve does. My TC33 has the regen dump feature but it's the second stage instead of the first so there's no issues with it. If it was made by the same manufacturer then there would be a chance of something like that being able to be swapped

Now ya got me puzzled. What is the "orbital motor" for? What does it do ?

Have you had any dialog with the dealer about your situation? There are some who take customer support seriously who will go out of their way to help solve problems; then there's the other kind that just wants to sell product. If you have a good one, maybe he'd go to bat for you. Kubota had been sourcing loader controls from a US supplier (sorry, can't recall the name), years ago when my tractors were new, dunno what the current situation is.

I wasnt aware that the TC had regen second.

Most modern tractors are ONLY regen....or at the least regen is first.

Regen is the preffered way to dump when using the bucket. Because it keeps air out of the system and controls dumping heavy buckets better.

Are you using curl function at all? IS this a diverter tied to curl function? I assume the loader is off and and you are just using loader valve for blower lift and chute rotate? Want to ask rather than just assume?

I would honestly just add whatever valve you need, or even control it with a 3rd function or a diverter rather than trying to revamp the OEM valve.

My NIMCO on the MF is normal first and regen second. That makes it a PITA to "dump hard" in cases where you want to force the bucket tip downward. Requires several tries (and that's when it is working right.)
