B3030 trans...what life/longevity for it?

I don't know....my Step-Dad is 88 and drives the IH 424 at least a couple of times a day to feed the cows, get fire wood, fix fence, etc.
He says staying active on the tractor keeps him young so if that IS the case, she will outlive you AND the tractor.....

I wuzz down at the creek this morning pulling logs that floated down after yesterdays most needed rain. And couldn't stop LAUGHING.... I realized that my '06 B3030 Cab, '07 RTV, and '06 Dodge diesel dually will probably all OUT LAST me ! Tell Mom, My B3030 HST Cab has 200hrs. and I haven't had 1 problem. You mentioned she works in very dusty conditions. She might want to consider a Cab. It's has an air purification system. I was surprised after cleaning the filter how much dust/dirt/bugs it filtered out. The heat/ac really can spoil you. Just a thought. Give Mom a big hug for me...Frank

She plunked the down payment on a Kubota B3030 on Tuesday. Also got a 42" Rotomec tiller. She plans on getting a rear discharge finishing mower caue that won't blow the grass over in her flower beds. She has a Grasshopper mower and has just about wore it out. She'll put the hours on the B3030 that I can assure you. I"ll keep the board updated on her new buy. She's a hoot thats for sure! Tucky

I think that the B3030 has enough guts to pull the KingKutter 60" tiller. Usually they are in the 1100 to 1400$ range depending on location in the country.

Very tough tiller.

Maybe she can think that over?

What kind of mom do you have that thinks she is going to wear out a Kubota?

I got a better question. What kind of mom at age 72 thinks SHE is going to be around longer than that tranny will be????
