B3030 seat, it stinks!

I think the seat on my new B7610 seems to lean forward way too much! I always feel like I about to slide off. I need to look into adjustments of some sort.

I'm getting the f3680 seat put on my b3030 that neil messick recd - I'll post a report once I've used it for a while. The seat was my least favorite part of the machine testing it out.

Yes it's not the most comfortable seat if you spend a few hours in it - especially for something called "Delux". I loosened the suspension for a softer ride. For the forward lean, I installed 4-5 washers under the front bracket and reinstalled the nuts and that has helped considerably. A few washers are cheap and worth a try for the forward lean.

I have gone back & forth on this 3030 seat, sometimes it's not too bad, but after long hours, 6 +, it really gets uncomfortable. I was in the curtis cab of my B7500 for 30 straight hours plowing sidewalks in a condo complex during a january blizzard back in 2002, i thought my butt would never recover! That B7500 seat was rough.

Lawn King, i suggest a few more burgers and fries. Pack on a little extra padding on the backside, and you'll be fine !

I dont need any extra lbs thanks. Since lesco came out with their HPS, articulating ride on spreaders powered by mr. kawasaki, i now carry an extra 20 lbs. The 3030 seat sucks, no nice way to put it!

I installed the F3680 seat on my B3030 and have spent about 6 hours of "seat time" since the install...however, in 2 hour installments on three separate occasions. I must say the difference is beyond description...at least for me!! While I have not had any lengthy time in the seat, it's cushioned ride cannot even be compared with the original seat. It really does take a lot of the roughness out of the ride...not to mention the sensation that you're about to slide down under the steering wheel.

However, I will CAUTION you!!! I found the idea that the install is a "drop-in" replacement didn't compute with me. Either I'm engineer challenged or the mounting mechanism used by Messik's customer was considerable different. I purchased the seat through "wholegoods" and retrofitted the mount for the mounting brackets on the original seat. I lost the slide feature of the original seat, but that was not a concern since I'm the only one to use the tractor (won't let my wife near it!). The F3680 seat has a seat safety switch on it and I simply converted the live rear PTO safety switch to a push/pull switch located under the seat...still requires a conscious decision to engage the rear PTO while not in the seat...and is located in a position that makes accidental activation very unlikely. Installation wasn't easy, but wouldn't trade for twice what I paid for the seat!!!!!!!!!

I really thought I wanted a Kubota until I drove several of them. I couldn't get comfortable in any of the seats. They always seem to lean forward too much. I finally bought a Case DX. I think the Case New Holland seats are far superior. There have been many comments about the comfort of Kubota seats in this forum. I think they need to listen and improve the seats. I would be a Kubota owner if the seats were better

The kubota seat issues go on & on. I dont have a problem with the foward lean, my lower back gets very uncomfortable, almost numb, after extended hours. I really dont think washers under the mounting bracket will work for me. I think kubota should stop calling this a delux seat. Im just going to have to bite the bullet and shell out the coin for a nice seat, lazy boy perhaps?
