I'm in the same boat as you with the B3030 seat. It's a nice seat except for the fact that the seat back is angled way too far back. In fact, my back doesn't even come into contact with the back of the seat so I'm basically sitting on a padded, square bench. There are a lot of old threads on TBN regarding the poor seat designs for mid-2000's era B-series Kubotas. Here's a picture from one of them:
My seat looks like the one on the right along with folding armrests on each side.
My tractor is from 2007 or 2008 but I didn't buy it until 2010. There was talk in some of the threads about a B-series seat buyback/exchange being offered by Kubota and/or it's dealers but I think that deal was gone by the time I had the tractor.
I'm guessing your seat matches the one on the right; the left one looks pretty darn good. Hopefully someone can offer up a good replacement option for us. Surplus Center has a Kubota replacement seat that looks similar to the left seat for $92.00 but the B3030 is not on the list of tractors that it fits.

I have a 2006 B3030 I bought late last summer. It has the seat shown on the left.
I think you'll probably have to buy something universal and adapt it.
Probably have to go with something like this and adapt it...

I just installed this seat from TSC on my BX2350. Premium High-Back Seat, Cordura - For Life Out Here
I bought mine from family farm and home because it was $30.00 cheaper.
TSC also has a similar seat in vinyl for $209.00.
Back folds forward and back just like a car seat. has adjustable lumbar support and arm rests that adjust to the angle of the seat back.
I went with the codura nylon rather that the vinyl because I know from experience that it holds up better plus my tractor is in the barn any time it rains.
I have lower back problems and the adjustable back rest and lumbar made a world of difference.
It is supposed to be universal but the tracks would not spread far enough but I was able to bolt my original Kubota base to the seat with a little modification. That also allowed me to keep the seat belt which is attached to the seat base.
The only problem I have encountered and I don't consider it a problem is that the seat is heavy enough that it keeps the safety switch depressed.

The buy back program mentioned above is over as I investigated this last year when trying to help my Dad out with his BX2200.
Ended up buying the "buy back" seat which is similar to the seat on the left. Also bought the folding arms to go with it. Dad claims it is a big improvement over the old seat (6 months usage so far). Old seat looked similar to one on right in the above link. It's a bit expensive and was slightly over $300 w/arms.
