B3030 rear wheel extensions and MMM

I have rear spacers on my B3030 and haven't had any interference issues with the 60" deck. I have turfs on it.

I recall when i looked up the cost of the wheel spacers on the wholegoods list there was an asteric with the wheel spacers regarding use with the belly mowers. I'd say Chuck is right, and the extra width interferes with the mower wheels. If my memory is correct (and it certainly may not be), i'm thinking its one deck there was a problem with and not the other. I might speculate there is an interference issue with the 60 inch deck but not the 72...... though, i could have that backward. I would expect your dealer could answer your concerns easily.

I think you have it right - depending on the tire type - just happened to be in the Kubota dealer today and there was a B3030 with 60" MMM attached and I could see that the wheels could touch if the wheel spacers would be put on when the MMM was raised. Unit had R4 Industrial tires on. There was minimal clearance even now without the wheel spacers, so likely the anti-scalp would be farther out on a 72" and should be OK? But you never know.. ;-)
