Kubota B3030 Cab
As you may note from my profile, I am located in SE Vermont.

I am looking at a 2007 B3030HSDC, factory cab with heat/AC.

Includes Kubota FEL, Woods GH80-X backhoe with full frame mount and a Kubota 63" Front mounted blower with hydraulic rotation and deflection.

411 hours, stored inside, recent full service by local Kubota dealer. I know the current (second) owner and he takes very good care of all his equipment (he is a local tradesman - plumber).

Does $26,500 seem reasonable? I know it's roughly half what the closest comparable new one would be, but what does that mean?

Here is a link to the listing:

The price seems a reasonable to me, as the NE demands a bit higher price. If it is configured to meet your needs then it is something definitely worth looking at. Both the backhoe and front snowblower are expensive to add new. I didn't realize the Woods backhoe would work on a Cab B3030, so I'm glad you posted.

It's hard finding a non-emissions 30hp B-Series cab tractor. I've seen these listed at easy $15k to $20K with FEL. Add another $7 to $10K for the Blower and Hoe and the pricing is in the ballpark.

I'd be all over it if it had a mower deck at this price.

Good luck and let us know what you do.

Good feedback, thanks.

I don't currently "need" a mmm (I have two alternative methods of mowing) but will probably keep my eyes open for one - I know I've seen them in the past on CL etc. I know I could sell either/both of my alternates for more than it would cost for a mmm - it's more a matter of whether I want to be driving this large a unit for mowing. We have a small orchard (12 trees) and quite a few other trees/buildings/"stuff" to mow around. The zero turn is very efficient but has terrible traction on our very hilly lot and the Massey GC with 3-pt mower is awkward.

At this point it's mostly a matter of justifying spending this much money for a tractor, both to myself as well as my Minister of Finance. OTOH if I do go this route I would "plan" to never buy another tractor (I'm 54). Of course, plans do change... ;)

OK, I've got approval from FM. Heading over to make a deal. Wish me luck.

I did it.

Paid the asking price for the TLB and snowblower, and got the "extra" implements included in the price:

5' Tiller (new last year)
5' Brush Hog
5' York Rake with gauge wheels (new last year)
5' back blade (new last year)
Bucket mount pallet forks (new last year)

I wanted the tiller (my 4' is not big enough), and offered $25k for the TLB/SB plus tiller. He's moving south and really didn't want to deal with moving everything and finally convinced me to take it all. Not sure I'll use the rest too much (the brush hog, yes - although I was leaning towards a flail mower), but they will be handy to have, and I can sell them if I decide I don't want them. He also threw in a pneumatic grease gun.
