I bought my B3030 new in July 2006 -- and have nothing to complain about. It has approx 145 hours, and I use it mostly for BH and FEL work on my 7 acre lawn - I have a old MF TO35 I use to cut the grass. I've used the FEL primarily to move mulch, stones, and other landscaping materials that were trucked to my house. I've done a lil bit of FEL work digging using a tooth bar, and it has done an admirable job - small dirt bike track for the kids. The BH is awesome - I've not had one before and I'll never be w/o one again. I've repaired buried pipes around a swimming pool, dug holes for tree/shrub planting, removed tree stumps, and turned a hillside, sloped garden into a 'raised bed' garden that is horizontal instead of running downhill. And lastly, I used the FEL to raise 8"X8" 16' posts on-end for my covered deck roof supports. The B3030 has done all I've tried to do with it. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the exhaust blows on the FEL arm and makes it dirty, adding to my clean up time. Hope this helps.

B3030 HSDC - I have put 10 hours on my machine snowblowing for what it is worth, and the machine has performed flawlessly. I would hope any $20,000 plus tractor could do that.

I purchased a B3030 in October 2005. I only have a loader and backhoe for it. It now has 500 hours on it. No problem what so ever with the tractor.
The backhoe has had all the hoses replaced and the cyl that is on top. Broke it planting a small tree.
I have dug out stumps bigger than the tractor. All I could do with them after I got them out was roll them. Don't know how to get a picture on here. Maybe later.
I don't know anything about doing anything else with a B3030. I use and old B6100E to mow about 5 acres and run a tiller it also has a front blade. I think it is about 30 years old and the only thing I have replaced on it is the idler pully on the fan belt. It has went thru 2- 48 inch Woods rear mount mowers. They are tough little tractors.

I feel honored that your very first post after joining TBN nearly 2 years ago was an answer to my question. I'm glad to know that you are still pleased with your B3030 after 500 hours of TLB use, as that is going to be one of my primary uses too.
Thanks to everyone else who's responded, especially the guys that have been pleased with the TLB versions.
Sounds like the deluxe B's are holding up just fine.

I'm mowing 7 acres with my B3030 and maintaining a long drive way for plowing snow with a front blade, and use the FEL constantly. The cab keeps me cool in the summer and just today when it was 20 degrees out I was plowing in a shirt and had to shut off the heat. visibility is good, power is very good. No problems. the dealer actually talked me out of a Grand L. He said it was too big for what I use a tractor for. He felt the Grand L was too heavy for all the mowing I do. Actually the JD dealer recommended the B3030 to me instead of the JD 3320 due to the weight of the unit and the mowing I do. This B3030 should be the last tractor i need.
