B3030
Mama took the kids grocery shopping tonight so I got a jump on my 50 hour service for my B3030. I was able to change the oil and filter, air filters and fuel filter. I am going to tackle the hydraulic fluids and filters and front axle tomorrow if I get a chance.

I have read here, read my book and searched all over and I want to confirm that there is no metal screen in the hydraulic system like some Kubotas have. Thanks for the replies, I don't want to get done and realize that I missed it.

I am in the process of gathering the oil, filters, tools ect to do the 50 hour service on my L3400HST this weekend. As the property where the tractor is kept, is an hour from my home and in the middle of no where, planning is everything. I looked in the owners manual and see nothing on a screen so it must not be on my model.

You didn't miss the metal screen on your B3030. I searched the manuals too and couldn't find anything about a screen. I then asked the service manager at my dealer and he confirmed that there is no screen on B3030s but there is on some models.

I am about ready to change my hydraulic oil in my 3030. I do not have the front hydraulic bucket attached to the tractor right now. How much will this effect the quantity of hydraulic oil I put back into the machine. Should I put the 4 gal. in?

I changed my hydraulic fluid and filters this weekend on my B3030, put in 4 gal. trying to watch the dipstick, of course I over filled it, I ended up with probably 3.75 gal. added once I drained a little out to get to the lines on the stick. I didn't have the loader on.

In a system that large, an extra qt is typically no big deal.
