Does anyone have any pictures of a B3030HSDC (cab model) with a backhoe attached? I am thinking about buying a backhoe for my B3030 and would like to see some pictures.

Are there any users who could comment on the performance of the B3030 with a backhoe?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jon

Make yourself a pot of coffee, then search the Kubota forums for "B3030 BH75" and "B3030 BH80-X". If you still have any questions after that, we'll be around :) I assume you already know that Kubota's hoe doesn't fit on the Cab model...so that probably means you're looking at a Woods BH80-X (IMHO the BH70-X is not big enough).

Have not found any pictures of a Cab B3030 on TBN. But here is a picture that someone posted on Equipment trader.

There is one photo, posted in 2 places in the archives. When I have time later in the day, I'll try to locate it and post a link.

From one customer I've heard that it is getting old real fast with the amount of time he's spending getting on and off the tractor to move it while trenching. His old tractor had an after-market cab that with the rear window removed he could still operate the tractor from the backhoe.

It seems like poor ergonomics. A guy who dug a big streambed for me had a Case TLB with cab and 4-way bucket on FEL. The bh controls were inside the cab and his seat simply spun around. Nice rig.

Looking at their web site, the cab appears to be their own aftermarket cab. Take a look at the cab here:
Laurin inc.

Wow, at first glance you would swear that's the factory HSDC cab.
One thing that seems to be amiss is the BH seat... I wonder whether the fact that it's not folded down is just because they didn't, or it won't.

I noticed that too. It looks like the bh seat won't go down with the cab in place. I wonder whether it could be a cab that you use when the bh isn't on, and you have to take the cab off when you use the bh. Most lament that jumping in/out/running back & forth if using the factory HSDC with a Woods hoe. Could this actually be a removable hard cab? If so, wonder how hard it is to remove/reattach; how hard to store it without it getting dusty and cobwebbs all over? Intriguing, but could be more hassle than it's worth. Thoughts?????

OK finally a picture of a real b3030 hsdc with a backhoe. BH80X and ATI grapple.

Yes, I bought it B3030hsdc 2 years ago when they first came out. Crooked bucket issue and all. Resolved that pretty quick with dealer. Just had the ATI grapple put on and the hoe a year ago. Updated seat, that was the other issue the famous slanted seat. No charge. Now I feel like I'm in the seat not sitting on a bleacher seat. It has 190 hours as pictured. Usualy in garage.
The hoe comes on and off easy about 5 min to remove and 10 to put it on. In my opinion that's the right size hoe for balance etc. With the ATI on front it adds about another 150 lbs so it acts to counterweight the hoe even better not that it was unstable at all without the extra front weight.
