B3030 back in action!

After some real lean winter months (almost snowless) im happy to report the B3030 is back in action, earning her payment & then some! 12 acres of fertilizing wendsday, installation of 15 cubic yards of mulch yesterday and if the rain holds off until afternoon tomorrow, i hope to sneak in 3 acres of core aeration tomorrow morning.

Just got back from a walk about and winter still in the air...almost inch of snow fallen but the birds are singing there songs loud tho. ....guess mud season gonner hang on little longer.

Stay low down there,for you folks could have some high winds I heard.

yea it started raining hear early. I got some burning in yesterday. I put a pump in the pool so it wouldn't overflow and bag the liner. Its coming down pretty hard now

Around 3" of snow so far in western MA. I see a lot of postings from a lot of NE readers who are probably all bored and looking out their windows still waiting for Mud Season to begin. I still do plan on firing up my charcoal grill to smoke some meats for dinner tonight regardless of the snow and pending sleet/rain/wind. I still might have to fire up the tractor to plow tonight !. I will wear my sailing gear . Jay

Thats too funny I hate being stuck inside. I'll go down to my gym later and workout I guess. I hate a wasted weekend. You may not have to plow I think it will all wash away by morning

It is still snowing +6", but starting to change to sleet. Temperature has ranged below 33 degrees F all day. I am bored enough to start to straighten out my basement . I hope you are right about the rain, I do have my sailing gear out in case the local road crew plows us in . Jay

Hi thomas, i see you posted @ 8:00. I was half done with the aerations by then, i love getting up at 4:30 AM . Im glad i got out of bed though, because nothings going to get done tomorrow, with this crazy weather. I aerated 2.75 acres for Weymouth youth soccer today.I just finished my last few thousand feet when the heavy rain started. This account has a special place in my heart, it was 7 years ago this october when i was in the middle of this complex, aerating (open station) with my B7500. The sky opened up and poured rain, i lost my cell phone and most of the contents of my wallet. I ordered a curtis cab the very next day! This was where my cab love began and at this point in my life ,30 years in the green industry, if she dont have a cab, im afraid i cant help you today my friend!!!
