Thanks for the Side by Side, Kinda makes me cry. New BX 23 comming, should be in next week some time, and I will be able to get home to see her, but after seeing that shot, Kinda make me want to step up already. But going to hold out, as the smaller one is all I need right now, and can use, arange to use, larger tractors, if I really need it. Company I work for is sending me to work in Louisiana, next week, what timming, I will be working with in three hours of home. Yea!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bow, I have a 60" MMM. for two reason. First I want the possibility to add a bagger next fall. The second reason discovered today as I was loading the tractor on my trailer (6'6" wide) I have only 2 to 3 inches on each side (ouff). I removed the MMM today as described in the manual. It's fairly easy to remove. It takes only 4 or 5 minutes max.

Today guys I worked for you. I took a lot of pics and I think that some will interest some people here. I'm sorry, it's easier for me to put those pics here than in different threads.

OK... where to begin. I have pics (2) of the distance between the anti-scalp wheels and the Titan turf tires. The space is "very" thin.

Next. Let's talk about the overall width. Usually with R4 it's 53.8". With Titan turf tires with spacers it's nearly 60" (if you count not only the foot print but the side too). It's important. If you're using the 60" bucket to clear a path deep enough (3" minimum). Turf tires have a round shape. So the foot print is smaller than the overall width (side to side).

Without spacers, I had a space of 3/16" between the tire and the wheel well. Usually a spacer is around an inch or so (maybe an inch and a half). Here's a close up of the wheel well with a spacer.

Ok, I wasn't too happy to learn this one. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif To move the MMM, you need the 3PH. When I received the tractor it was equipped with the loader backhoe and MMM. I decided to remove the mower but I learned fast enough that to lower the mower you need the hitch so the step one wasn't to remove the mower but the backhoe and the mower and than put back the backhoe. Wow, so much for a "performance match". But it's OK. Now that I know that I'll plan what to do first. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Here's a pic of that discovery. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Stef,

Could you post a pic or two of the controls and floor where the HST pedal and (missing) clutch are?

I believe you have no foot clutch on the B3030, and that the PTO(s) have a hydraulic clutch that activates when you move the lever to the on position. Is this correct?

Nice tractor...you will be amazed at how much more grunt power it has over the smaller BX...

For those of you who saw my BX23 with a 64" snowblower (pic in my photo gallery), I couldn't resist to take a pic of my new B3030 with the snowblower (I had to move it so...). On the BX23, it seemed so big. On a B3030 it looks truly ordinary.

Henro

I'll post those pics tomorrow (I don't have pics of the controls yet). Yes, it's a hydraulic clutch activated by a lever.
