Is the B3030 beefy enough to handle a 4-5 foot disk harrow in clay soil? I know it would handle my other needs but this one could be a deal-breaker.

Your mileage may vary, but my friends were running my 7.5' box frame disc behind a 40 hp New Holland in Colorado soil with no problems.

I'm thinking that a 4-5' disc behind a 3030 is pretty conservative.

I use a 5 1/2 ' King Kutter behind my B7800 without any problem. I also have loaded Ag tires. I think it would handle a 6' without problems.

I use a 5 footer behind my B3030 with the R4 tires and not even loaded. I make one pass "empty" and then come back with it loaded down with weight to make more passes. Never had a problem yet
