B3000 MID & Rear PTO Shaft Diameter

Does anyone know if the PTO shaft diameter is the same size for the Rear & Mid PTO shafts on a B3000?

I wanted to buy a Shaft "Cap" to go onto the Mid PTO Shaft to protect it like the cover on the Rear PTO Shaft.

The Kubota Part number is 31220-25820.

I read somewhere that they are not the same size.

I have read that the 540 RPM Rear PTO shaft is 1 3/8", and the Mid PTO Shaft is 1 3/4".

The PTO cap is a rubber like material so it "may" be able to be squeezed onto the slightly larger shaft.

Can anyone confirm it?
