I can answer for my ROPS lighting project. I actually used 2 relays - 1 for the 2-55w front work lights and 1 for the 2-55w rear work lights. I ran battery power directly to each relay, then ran dash switches to control the power going through the relays.

I plan to use the Kubota optional rear worklight power & ground wire that runs to the back of the tractor to power a 12v accessory outlet that I can plug in a flashing amber beacon to.

Once you are using that much amperage at one time with a bunch of worklights, you should install relays to protect the system.

pushindirt;

The line is run directly from the battery into a fuse block. The lights (front/back) are on 2 different circuits and the are fused and not relayed. The strobe is tied into the 20amp line under the left fender. Should not need a relay if you use the correct gauge wire and you don't over load it!

Thanks to all for the wiring help. I have been a little busy the last 2 weeks but hopefully soon I can re-start my light project. I will post pictures when finished. I have to thank everyone on the site for their "wisdom" I know I can get great answers to any question I have just by asking! Thanks..

Now that's the way to move snow! Is there an advantage to having the rear blade straight vs angling it so the snow flows off to one side?

Thanks...it does work pretty well I must say!

1. First advantage is not to have to get out of the cab to spin the rear blade.
2. You can pull the max amount of snow this way.

It would be usefull to be able to angle with hydraulics but at $1000.00 plus for rear remotes not worth it!

I like that second video that shows the rear blade and blower in operation. Just say'en... I could do one or the other but not both. More power to ya.

savageactor7; It's pretty simple really...put the blade down; blower down steer and control shute direction and deflector! Only need to adjust blade when losing traction ( if you hit a dip in the pavement)
