I can answer for my ROPS lighting project. I actually used 2 relays - 1 for the 2-55w front work lights and 1 for the 2-55w rear work lights. I ran battery power directly to each relay, then ran dash switches to control the power going through the relays.
I plan to use the Kubota optional rear worklight power & ground wire that runs to the back of the tractor to power a 12v accessory outlet that I can plug in a flashing amber beacon to.
Once you are using that much amperage at one time with a bunch of worklights, you should install relays to protect the system.
